Yep, I wore my leather, beaded, adjustable necklace for my HS graduation picture. ![]() It's been a long time since I've worn any kind of leather jewelry. But the Endorphin Warrior bracelet is so comfortable it truly feels like I'm wearing nothing at all. I'm not the kind of gal to wear jewelry when I work out, other than my wedding rings and my watch. The sweat dries instantly and I've also drenched it while doing dishes (I mean, that's how I spend at least 40% of my day, easily) and it's held up nicely - just let it dry out overnight. I've yet to sport it in a race, but I did take it out yesterday on my first real tempo run MONTHS.Īfter a mile warm up, my 3 mile tempo went rather well and I was hitting my old tempo paces by the LAST mile - huzzah!Īaaaaaand, I really haven't taken it off since. I love the idea of having something to remind me as I look down at it during a tough run. One of my go-to mantras for when things get tough in a race is: You Are Stronger Than You Think. ![]()
